‘We will NOT place staff into schools with JUST a sports coaching qualification’.

All staff delivering for Fundamental Coaching have a qualification in sport - additionally they will have a degree in sports coaching and undergone training in order to reach instructor status.

Each lesson is planned and assessed in terms of pupil progress. Fundamental Coaching can provide individual pupil progress data which will enable the school to prepare reports.

The sessions our instructors provide incorporate differentiation - each group of children will be taught according to developmental needs (as well as chronological).

Our instructors our trained to identify special educational needs/ gifted and talented and can advise and liaise with school senior management in respect of this -

• All of our staff are subject to ongoing assessment to ‘Ofsted criteria’.
• Our programme is based on and linked to the national programme of study for PE at Foundation, KS1 and KS2.
• Our coaches are specially trained to deal with specific populations/ disability groups.
• Fundamental Coaching has accredited links with sports clubs/ organisations this giving children chances to develop in there chosen sport.

Forget the old fashioned 60’s, using the metal spoons !
